Responsible Tourism is a keystone in the MaB Concept

The Pfunanani Enterprise Development Project, within the K2C Biosphere, has supported the development of 71 SMME’s from to reach their full potential as suppliers and service providers of the local tourism economy.   The SMMEs are situated closer to the reserves and the many tourism facilities, thereby perfectly catered to the tourism market. They provide quicker, affordable and more efficient services than their urban counterparts.  For example, locally sourced produce is fresh, premium quality, organic and seasonal and served on a plate for all visitors to enjoy.
